Caretaker – Greenacre Hall, Rawdon

AVSED is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our team at Greenacre Hall. You'll work on a rota covering evenings and weekends to support both community events and external hirers.
What You’ll Do:

Open, close, and secure the building

Set up rooms and support hall users during events

Handle cleaning, basic maintenance, and groundskeeping

Conduct routine safety checks and monitor facilities

Be a friendly, helpful presence in our community space

Job Description
Minibus Driver including Maintainance
Part-time: 15 hours per week
Salary: £7,425 per year (NJC Scale Point 3 – £18,562 FTE)
Contract: 1-year fixed term (continuation subject to funding)

AVSED (Aireborough Voluntary Services to the Elderly with Disabilities) is a local charity working to reduce loneliness and isolation among older people in Aireborough. We’re looking for a reliable and caring Minibus Driver / Maintenance Worker to join our friendly team.
You’ll provide safe, door-to-door transport for our members to attend activities and appointments, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing. You’ll also take responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and cleanliness of our three vehicles, helping us keep this vital community service running smoothly.
You’ll need a full UK driving licence for 2 years and preferably with D1 entitlement, a friendly and respectful manner, and a commitment to supporting older and vulnerable adults. Previous experience driving minibuses or working in a community setting is desirable but not essential.
