Caretaker (2 Positions) – Greenacre Hall, Yeadon

£14 per hour | 77 hours/month | Evenings & Weekends | Permanent Contract

 

AVSED is seeking two reliable and proactive Caretakers to join our team at Greenacre Hall. You'll work on a rota covering evenings and weekends to support both community events and external hirers.

What You’ll Do:

• Open, close, and secure the building

• Set up rooms and support hall users during events

• Handle cleaning, basic maintenance, and groundskeeping

• Conduct routine safety checks and monitor facilities

• Be a friendly, helpful presence in our community space

 

What We Offer:

• £14 per hour

• Pension, holiday pay, and expenses

• Flexible, supportive team environment

• Permanent contract (with 3-month probation)

• Hands-on and dependable

• Comfortable working evenings/weekends

• Able to carry out physical tasks and basic repairs
